(NOTE: This command can only be used in Edit Mode.) This command removes the selected content and places it on the clipboard; the contents of the clipboard can later be pasted in another location. (NOTE: Placing any contents on the clipboard erases any previous clipboard contents.) The Cut command can also be performed by using the shortcut "Ctrl + X".
